Rob Bremer, MA

Storywork Coach

Meet Rob

You are enough.

God’s original design for you is marred by evil. We develop interpretations and make vows based on life’s big and small tragedies and traumas. We come to believe we are not loved, we are not worthy, and we are not seen. Despite our best intentions and sincere desires, we struggle to fully live out who God desires us to be. We resolve we aren’t enough and don’t have what it takes.

I want to say to you that you are enough. You do have what it takes. You are deeply loved by your Creator and designed exactly as He intended. You are God’s masterpiece. Do you struggle to see how this is true about you?

Life’s tragedies and traumas distort what we believe about ourselves. When we are unaware how unprocessed events impact us, it spills over into unwanted patterns of interacting and loving others.

You may find yourself wanting a deeper understanding of your own story and how it impacts relationships with others. . I welcome you. Your story is worth telling. What is broken in relationship is healed in relationship.

  • Everyman dies, not every man really lives. – William Wallace, Braveheart

We all have a story that is worth telling and needs to be heard. The narrative we’ve come to believe and live can leave us with unfilled desires and searching for the deeper meaning that is hidden in the wilderness of our true story. The essence of Storywork is discovering the first story that God is authoring. God wants to invite you to come alongside Him and co-write the rest of the story with Him. This cannot be done alone. Since we are unable to see our own face, it requires the reflection of our true selves from others in the context of relationship.

My deepest desire is for you to really live.

  • After more than 20 years climbing the ladder of success, my heart began asking questions. Is this it? What difference am I making? Following a period of profound heartache, disappointment, and pain, I left my executive job to pursue people’s hearts.

I’m an Ohio native who moved to Colorado for graduate school. My soul comes alive in the quietness and beauty of the wilderness. Colorado instantly became my home. There was no leaving after marrying a Colorado native. After 27 years of marriage, we have a college student and teenage twins. Being a husband and father has been my greatest and most sacred calling. It is in the context of marriage and fatherhood that I’ve been the most broken and learned how unresolved parts of my story impact my wife and children.

I’m deeply committed to helping restore the hearts of men. I partner with Restoration Project to lead expeditions of fathers and to find each other in the backcountry.

I would not be who I am today without my wonderful wife, courageous children, and loving brothers who show me who I really am.
