Meet Leslie

Change is hard, and it is often frightening.  But it can also be exhilarating, gentle, or enlightening.  Change can bring freedom from patterns, trauma, and cycles that have gripped us and held us back.

You see, there is no formula for mental wellness.  I wish there were.  Mental wellness is fluid, an art form.  We can work together to piece together what mental wellness looks like for you.  My prayer is for you to feel energized by your possibilities, rather than burdened by regrets or fears. My prayer is that you will feel the lightening of hope and know that you are not alone.

  • My belief is that change occurs in the context of relationship. Our professional relationship will be guided by an integrative approach encompassing a person-centered foundation and incorporating elements of existentialism, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. Your story and your calling are uniquely yours, and my hope is that together we can explore what you find to be purposeful and meaningful, thus creating a place of beauty, freedom, and balance for you. I believe that redemption is possible, whatever your story.

  • In 2016, my husband passed away unexpectedly, and I spent the next few years navigating my grief, my children’s grief, and learning how to be a single parent. Out of this unplanned experience, I felt drawn to provide comfort and community to others who are hurting, grieving, or simply unsure and confused.

I am a small community person, actively engaged in the local church, teaching and leading women and parents. In my free time, I love to read and spend time with my 5 children. We have lively discussions, often centered around new ideas they’re learning in school or books we’re reading. We also enjoy watching movies together, hiking, and Basset hounds.
